If Your Prayers Feel Like They Stop At The Ceiling — You're Not Doing It Wrong

1. Where Demons Actually Come From

Your Bible talks about demons constantly — casting them out, resisting them — but it never once tells you where they came from. Have you noticed that? The single most active force working against you, and no origin story.

The Book of Enoch gives it to you. When the giants of Genesis 6 died in the flood, their spirits didn't die with their bodies. They remained on the earth — restless, homeless, and hostile. That, Enoch explains, is what a demon is.

Once you know that, a hundred things you've felt suddenly have a name.

2. The Names Of The Fallen — And What They Taught

Enoch names them. The Watchers who came down, and their leader Azazel, who taught mankind things we were never meant to have — the making of weapons and war, sorcery, enchantments, the reading of the stars for hidden power.

Scripture tells you to resist the enemy. The removed book tells you the enemy's name and tactics. You can't stand against what you were never allowed to see clearly.

3. Why Certain Sins Have A “Pull” You Can Feel

Have you ever noticed that some temptations don't feel like normal choices — they feel like a pull, like a door that was already open before you got there?

The removed books describe exactly that: specific “arts” and doorways the Watchers introduced into the world. Not to make you afraid — but so you can finally recognize the difference between your own weakness and a door somebody else propped open long before you were born.

4. The Archangels — And Their Actual Assignments

Most of us can name Michael, maybe Gabriel. Enoch gives you the fuller order — Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel — and what each one is actually sent to do. Who intercedes. Who binds. Who stands where.

If you're going to understand a war, you need to know both sides of it. Your Bible gives you glimpses. The removed book gives you the ranks.

5. How The Fallen Were Bound — The “Chains Of Darkness”

Jude 6 and 2 Peter 2:4 both mention angels kept in “chains of darkness” reserved for judgment. Two verses. They hint — and then stop, as if the reader already knows the fuller story.

That's because the reader was supposed to. Enoch is where that story lives in full: who was bound, how, and what is still reserved. The New Testament is quoting a book most Christians were never allowed to read.

6. Why Prayer Can Feel Blocked — And What The Book Says Breaks Through

Here's the one that lifted the weight off me.

In Enoch, the fallen Watchers — terrified of judgment — beg Enoch to carry a petition to heaven on their behalf. He does. And the answer that comes back is no. There is no intercession for them.

Reading that, something clicked. The heaviness I'd been carrying wasn't proof that God wasn't listening. It was the residue of a war I didn't understand — and the removed book is the field manual I was never handed. It didn't leave me afraid. It left me equipped.
